Cakum Global is recruiting a Production Planning Manager for our client based near Lae, Papua New Guinea.

Role Overview:
This role is responsible for end-to-end production planning and performance analysis across multiple farming operations, ensuring accurate forecasting, efficient resource allocation, and alignment with business targets.

Key Highlights

• Develop short- and long-term production plans across breeder, broiler, layer, and hatchery operations
• Forecast stockfeed requirements, chick supply, and production outputs
• Plan placements, harvest schedules, and inventory flow
• Deliver accurate production reporting and performance analysis
• Work closely with operations, sales, and supply chain teams to align forecasts and execution
• Drive data accuracy, simulations, and continuous planning improvements

Ideal Candidate

• Degree in Accounting, Economics, Engineering, Agriculture, or related field
• Minimum 10 years' experience in production planning or similar role
• Advanced Excel skills (including macros) and strong analytical capability
• Highly organized with strong planning and problem-solving skills
• Strong communicator with the ability to influence across teams
• Experience in poultry or agribusiness preferred, but not essential
